The first of a series of 8 exciting, outdoor, live youth music events in East Lothian takes place on 2 June 2012. These events are being supported and promoted by ELjam, in partnership with a range of other organisations. ELjam is striving to leave no stone unturned in its hunt for talent, and that is where you come in. Acts/Bands/Ensembles/Groups/Solo Performers of all styles are invited to apply for slots at these events. In the interests of diversity and equal opportunities, ELjam is co-ordinating the selection process in collaboration with local event organisers.

Acts aged under-25 that are based in East Lothian are likely to be given priority, however those not meeting this criteria are also welcome to apply. Acts need not have previous experience of performing live.
The combined audience for the above events is predicted to run in to thousands, so participation will represent an excellent opportunity for acts to showcase their talents and widen their fan base. ELjam and Youth Music Forum Scotland greatly appreciates any assistance that you or your organisation can offer in highlighting this opportunity to young musicians, and encouraging them to take part!
ELjam and its partner organisations will ensure that all relevant Health and Safety and Child Protection procedures are adhered to during the planning and delivery of these events. Please look out for the promotional material that will be extensively distributed towards the end of May. If you have any question regarding any of the above, please do not hesitate to contact ElJam.
