Creative Identities is part of the Scottish Government’s CashBack for Communities programme, which has been reinvesting the proceeds of crime in Scotland into community programmes, facilities and activities for young people at risk of turning to crime and anti-social behaviour as a way of life. The Scottish Government has allocated £2.25 million over 2011-2014 to Creative Scotland to deliver Creative Identities programme.
The main purpose of Creative Identities is to provide young people (0-25 years) in Scotland with access to high quality experiential opportunities in dance, film and music in communities where there is an identified and demonstrated need.
