August 15, 2012 at 1:03 pm in Opportunities, Other Youth Opportunities, Training Opportunities by admin

The National Children’s Orchestra provides a unique orchestral experience each year for children from 7-13 years old to learn, develop new skills and play alongside a full orchestra of other enthusiastic and talented children at an array of exciting events all over the country.

To become a member of NCO, all children must apply to audition each year, even those who have been members previously. To be a part of one of next year’s vibrant national orchestras, entrants must be aged 7-13 years old at the time of the auditions, taking place October 2012. After the audition process, successful applicants will be placed in the appropriate orchestra depending on their skill levels and musical abilities.
