  • Youth music performance opportunity in Aberdeenshire festive Chanter/Piping show

    Piping Arts is hosting the Aboyne and Huntly Piping Schools festive show on 15th December. As well as pupils from both Piping Schools we have some capacity for other young musicians to show their talents. The show will be held on 15th December, 7-9pm, at Towie Village Hall.     This years 2 day pipesplore event, part of the Aberdeen International Youth Festival, has a new look format – PIPEACADEMY 2011
    PIPEACADEMY 2011 is a terrific opportunity for young pipers of all ages. With many new features this a youth piping event definitely not to be missed:
    • Open to all young pipers up to 21 years old
    • Learn new tunes
    • DroneZone
    • Regular-Rhythms
    • Assessment sheets
    • Expert tuition by qualified instructors

    Participants can register for PIPEACADEMY by one of the following:
